Phishing Alert from Cyber Crime Centre

The Cyber Crime Centre have been alerted to a number of compromised email accounts which have been used within Northern Ireland
Similar to previous phishing emails, the current version in circulation purports to be a file sharing request with recipients asked to download a file.
Awareness is key to preventing this type of phishing, with end users being encouraged to verify unexpected emails and links sent to 3rd parties, report internally and if appropriate report to report@phishing.gov.uk
